Universal Law
Etching hand printed in soft black on Hahnemuhle paper
22 x 23 inches
We perceive things as solid and definitive when actually all phenomena is in a continual state of process, with no real beginning or ending. By always searching and longing for that which is stable or certain, we tend to suffer and struggle against the relentlessly changing momentum of life. Without awareness we also quickly lose touch with what is most valuable. As Seneca says, we squander our time like its a renewable resource; not recognizing each moment lost in distraction is a moment lost forever.
