Inner Fields has no private funding and is mostly financed by acts of generosity from it's community, near and far. Keeping the sessions donation-based or sliding scale is important to Inner Fields, as community attendance is valued more deeply than making a profit. But as you can imagine, in a place like Brooklyn, NY, this makes covering the monthly rent a significant challenge.
