"As space is to form, and silence is to sound, so is awareness to all phenomena." - Kittisaro

Listening does not depend on sound for us to hear. In fact, it is when we tune into the subtle vibrations inherent within 'silence' that we begin to tune into a compassionate awareness which holds and receives all phenomena.

Amplifying the experience of silence through live instrumentation and a sound-proofed environment, this evening will explore the profound practice of listening as a tool for both heightening our awareness, and deepening our connection to all things.

This gathering will take place at Shahzad's recording studio in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. To receive the address, please RSVP below.

Like all Inner Fields gatherings, this event is offered by dana (free will giving). Dana is a Buddhist term meaning 'cultivating generosity' and is a powerful self-reflective practice. There will be the opportunity to offer dana to both Inner Fields and Shahzad Ismaily at this gathering. The dana Inner Fields receives will fund our next gathering, as this gathering has already been fully funded by the one preceding it. Thank you for participating in this vital aspect of Inner Fields.

Space for this event is limited to 15 people. There may be a waiting list.

Please submit your RSVP then check your email for confirmation of your place.

One RSVP form per guest.
