Attending

gatherings

Inner Fields is structured in an intentional format and is not typical of a regular art event. Since each gathering is created by the people who attend, I personally contact each guest once your RSVP has been confirmed. Space is always limited and there may be a waiting list.

When to Arrive

Each gathering opens with a meditation and we'll wait for everyone to arrive before we begin. Please aim to arrive 15 minutes early in order to have enough time to be settled. Each gathering lasts 2 hours and promptly ends on time.

What to Expect:

You will be requested to turn off your cell phones once the gathering begins. Chairs will be available for those who need them but otherwise please come prepared to sit comfortably on the floor (cushions will be provided). If you'd like a chair reserved for you, just let me know. Art materials and light refreshments will be supplied, but you're also welcome to bring your own. No previous art or meditation experience is required for any Inner Fields event.

Bringing a Friend and Cancellations:

You are always welcome to bring your friends, we just ask that they also RSVP through the website so I can account for every guest. Similarly, if you or your friends are unable to attend one of your sessions, please email me with at least 8h notice so we can offer your space to the waiting list.

Dāna (free will giving):

Dāna is a Buddhist term for ‘cultivating generosity’ and is one of the guiding principles by which all Inner Fields gatherings are offered. Often mis-represented as a 'donation', dāna is actually an intentional, mindful practice which explores what it means to both give and receive. The dāna collected at each Inner Fields event is shared equally between Inner Fields and our artistic collaborators. Thank you for supporting the work of artists.
